Roll straight from Fireside Outpost onto some of the best paved and unpaved cycling routes in the Southeast! Just a couple of miles from Fireside Outpost is one of the best farmers markets in Tennessee - the Delano Community Farm Market - offering locally grown produce, baked goods and more. In keeping with Mennonite customs, everything is produced right there at the farm with no preservatives, dyes and additives - a difference you can taste! The scenery at the farm is pretty spectacular too! The farmers market is located at 163-285 Needle Eye Ln, Delano, TN 37325.
WINE & SPIRITS TASTING
For a relaxing change of pace, head over to Savannah Oaks Winery. Less than a mile and a half from Fireside Outpost, the winery offers free wine tasting and a gift shop loaded with Amish-made butter, cheese and meats. If you're looking for a more adventurous tasting, check out Starr Mountain Distillery in downtown Etowah!
Located literally next door to Fireside Outpost is the Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park, a beautiful park that hosts a variety of fun events.
